Today our family went to 12:15 Mass. We had intended to go to the St. Patrick's Day parade in downtown Buffalo at 2 pm but after Mass nobody seemed particularly enthusiastic about it, the family was just hungry! It seems my stuffed mushrooms have become something they expect on Sundays now and J. wanted to learn how to make them himself, so he helped make a double batch~ I mean, this was a huge meal; we used 4 packages of fresh mushrooms and two lbs. of pork sausage! Also, we had bacon-ranch pasta salad (made from a box mix with extras added in for flavor~ black olives, bacon bits, chopped onion, peas) and cheesy Texas Toast on the side.
Of course, by the time we were done it was 4 pm~ Sunday nap time!
Then we took the kids out to play in the neighborhood~ N. riding his bike and dh, the dog, me and B. walking behind. Oh, K. came along too. J. had just gotten back from a run and didn't feel like going out again.
Good news~ I passed the Online Safety Advocate training part I and now will be working actual cases with help. I'm being partnered up with the pros. This is cool!
