Saturday at Home

I got to sleep in this morning! I didn't get up until 9 am, it felt soooo good!

Made coffee, took care of the dog, fed some kids and washed up the dishes, had J. bring the little kids' bikes up from the basement and had K. pump up the tires on N.'s bike. I played drums with the kids for a bit in the late morning~ that was a lot of noisy fun! Then made lunch~ whole strawberries, cheese sticks, & bologna sandwiches.

I got some housework done real quick~ scrubbed the bathroom, made all the beds, vac'd the living room, swept the kitchen, folded and put away laundry, and got myself and the kiddos dressed for outside.

So we spent almost 2 glorious hours out on the street, in the sunshine, letting the kids bike with a neighbor girl and walking behind them with that child's mommy. Then they took that little neighbor girl's jeep out for a cruise around the block, so I got even more exercise.

We're having sliced roast beef sandwiches for supper.

Hubby has taken the dog to get his nails clipped and run some errands. J.went for a run, and K. had a few things to take care of today. Just a very relaxing day at home for the most part.
