Taking Action

Instead of continuing to whine about how rotten people on internet can be, I decided to dooooo something about it. So~ I'm training to be a volunteer online victim's advocate. I'm going to learn, and help others to learn, how to stop online harrassers in their tracks and hold them accountable. Where laws have been broken, well... we'll take it to the proper authorities.

This is something that became important to me after seeing some of my online friends attacked by vicious women on discussion forums. Their quoted words, & photos of them and their family members, were put on other websites for mockery, threats, lies, gossip, and general abuse. It continues to this day. I hope those people learn that something can be and will be done to stop them.

It's terrible enough that kids and their parents have to worry about online predators and harassment. It's also disgusting when it is mothers themselves that are harassing & bullying other women. No wonder some kids grow up to be bullies~ they learn it from their parents!
