We're going out tonight! My husband suggested we take the family to something, so we've chosen Irish Family Fun Night at our church's parish center. There's going to be beer, cheese pizza (it's Friday, so I presume there will be no pepperoni), games, Irish dancers, and a band,... should be a good time, and it's only $5/person. Even K. is coming with us, since he doesn't have school on Friday evenings.
Don't think I have anything green to wear... hmmmm....
Yesterday I went to Amvets Thrift Store. For under $17 I was able to get B. two new sets of jammies (a Barbie nightgown, and a brand new sleeper like the ones she wears now, except in a bigger size), two cute tops with original price tags on them, a pretty sundress, Bambi and Aristocats on video, and a pink plush Peeps Easter basket (new!). I love a bargoooooon!
Things that make me happy today:
It's 56 degrees out~ Good walking weather.
My kitchen sink is shiny clean and I don't have to cook tonight.
It's FRIDAY!!!!!
All the clean laundry has been folded and put away ~ before 7:30 am.
Only a couple stops to make today~ the post office & credit union, and then get some milk.
Sending out St. Patricks Day cards to a few loved ones, filled with a little spring flowers confetti just for fun. Lol
