Palm Sunday

Blah... so much for getting my yard cleaned up this weekend. We had a layer of wet snow over muck, so I got nothing done out there. It's sunny today but still cold at 37 degrees. I'm hoping it warms up throughout the day. *Just heard the weather forecast and I'm going to pretend I didn't hear what that man just said was coming tomorrow.*
We're going to 12:15 mass and then I'm making sausage, eggs, and cut fresh mango for lunch. We're supposed to take a quick drive out to hubby's fishing spot to see if the water cleared up (fishing is lousy in murky waters) but I don't think that will be necessary now.
Saturday~ I cleaned and went to Walmart (yes, I HAD to go for my meds and detergent and got out of there in record time!), played a Spongebob Squarepants video game with N and B (as I had promised I would after they begged me all Friday evening *sigh*), read my book a little and took a nap with B. while Hubby cooked chinese food for supper~ ginger chicken, lemongrass rice w/ broccoli and baby corn. Yummy!!!!

Last evening was fun~ the whole family played Pokeno at the kitchen table and I had a tray of prizes (with a dish towel over it!) so the winner could feel around and grab a prize~ candy & gum etc.. and after three wins you could trade up for a "better" prize on another tray~ sunflower seeds, cashews, inexpensive cologne, hair products, Pez, weird toys,.. stuff my guys like and a couple for B too . It was a blast as we had a lot of funny moments between all the kids and we let B win whenever she claimed to have Pokeno, which luckily was only twice. I had tried keeping track for her but she kept removing her chips from her board, so I gave up! Lol
After the littles were asleep we watched The Haunting Of Molly Harley with the older two boys. It was so-so, not the best scary story. Not at all compared to Quarantine, which we saw last weekend~ Quarantine has to be the BEST scary movie I have seen in ages!!!! It totally creeped me out.
I should probably have something insightful and semi-brilliant to share for Palm Sunday, but at this moment I really don't~ maybe that will come to me after Mass. I believe in miracles! Don't you? Hahahaha
